The Girls!

I have had the pleasure of photographing these beautiful girlies as they’ve grown. It’s scary how time flies but I love seeing how little ones develop their own unique personalities – it can be so different even amongst siblings!

Family photos are such an important thing to get through the years – I love looking back through mine. Precious memories!

Abi & Adam

Abi & Adam put on a most beautiful wedding in little Llanddewi – a gorgeous hamlet nestled in mid-wales.

You could feel the community spirit here. We had the classic huddle of locals waving as Abi went to church – although she was in a horse drawn carriage so … deserving of some fanfare!

Everything was in short walking distance of each other – home, church, marquee all in a neat little triangle. The horse down carriage was put to good use though – rides around the hamlet for all the little kids, some big kids too! My whimsy-ometer was off the scale!

Every part of this day was full of love and celebration. Bubbles, first dance pyrotechnics and sparkly cowboy boots were all extra icing on the cake of a brilliant wedding!

Hearty congratulations to the lovely Abi & Adam!

Sophie & Alex

Well this was a delightful day at Tall John’s House! I have been here numerous times now and NEVER have I been into the secret room behind the bookcase! What an epic venue!

Showers were threatening our forcast for the day but they never came!  We managed to have the ceremony outside in the beautiful grounds surrounded by the bluebells. This ceremony had such heart – readings, poems and even a stunning acapella sung by the brother of the Bride. I got to see my first Scottish Quaich, where a cup is sipped from by Bride and Groom signifying love, dedication and the unifying of two families!

These guys were such a fun bunch to photograph. Look out for the groomsmen photo – I came over from the bridesmaid shot and they were all ready in position!! Encapsulating some cool album cover photo I mistakingly thought they were impersonating some 16th century Sea Captains. Similar vibe I guess.

With some incredible feasting, live band and a Ceilidh, cocktails and fire pits, this wedding was an absolute corker! And by the sounds of it, the new Mr & Mrs McDermott are carrying on that tend into the honeymoon!

Many happy returns to you Sophie & Alex!
