Baby Mason

I’ve been dying to put up this post of the gorgeous little Mason.  I attended the hospital after his birth for a shoot as well as a home photoshoot.  It wonderful to see how quickly new parents Sam & Kelsey have taken to parenthood – like ducks to water … or nappies to bins.

He’s such a cute little thing and I wish I could show you all the photos … but I’ve restrained myself with just a few … enjoy!

Hood Family

I met up with the lovely Hood family recently for a family photo shoot.  They live up in the hills of Llangunllo … out in the sticks of my home county of Powys!  This was a beautiful place to photograph around and what an amazing place for the little ones to grow up!

The kids were not a fan of walking up the steep incline to the lake up the hill … so their Dad pushed them in the wheelbarrow!  (I think your transformation of a city boy to county bumpkin is complete Matt!)

All in all, Kites, chucking sticks, stomping in puddles, crawling up on hay bales and (my favourite) flinging children into the air, makes for a very fun morning and a happy family photo shoot!

Amanda & Keith

Where has the time gone?!  I had the pleasure meeting Amanda and Keith a few weeks previous for the pre-wedding shoot and now their wedding has come and gone!

I joined the ladies in the morning at Amanda’s family run golf club after having had a sneak peak at the gorgeous marquee set up on the lawn.

With the ceremony being at 12pm, the morning went by in a flash.  I was at Garthmyl Hall before I knew it watching the lovely Keith, aka ‘Spike’, tear up as his youngest came down the isle prior to the bride.

The ceremony was only 20 minutes but, my goodness, there was a lot of tears and emotion within that space of time! … actually, this was a very emotional wedding throughout the day.

It was a joy to see just how much love this whole family has for one another.  Amanda and Keith are such a lovely couple and adoring of each other and their kids – their matrimony has sealed that family bond even tighter than before.  What can be better than that really?!

This was a wonderful wedding.  The sun was shining, the food was delicious, everyone was happy – you couldn’t ask for more.  But wait, there WAS! … After the first dance, the Groomsmen sprang onto stage with a surprise dance for the Bride! At first it looked like it was going to turn out the be something from the Full Monty but thankfully the bridesmaids joined in and did an epic dance routine!  They had been secretly practicing for months.  It finished with Keith lip syncing to ‘Time of My Life’ from dirty dancing and keep a beady eye out for who did the iconic lift in the photos below!
