Sophie & Richard

So, on the 23rd of July I had the pleasure of shooting this gorgeous wedding for Sophie and Richard at Walcot Hall!

Two months ago, I did their engagement shoot and had a glimpse into the bond they share.  They have been a wonderful couple to photograph – so adoring and affectionate together!  Actually, there seemed to be a real closeness between all of the friends and family there, they were a lovely bunch of people!

This wedding had it all – beauty, emotion, love, laughter … a tractor … some serious dancing! … and of course, a bit ‘o bling in the form of Jimmy Choo’s (phwoar)!  I had so much fun shooting this wedding but I’ll let the photos do the talking now …

Congratulations Sophie & Richard and thank you for a beautiful wedding!

Mikie & Jordan

On the 11th of June, I had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful couple’s wedding down in Ross-On-Wye!  This was a partial coverage day but I got to do all my favourite bits of a wedding day … the ceremony and the couple shots!

I had actually only spoken to Mikie & Jordan on the phone – we hadn’t had chance to meet and look around their location for ideas.  However, through their diligent research and photo sharing, we got a gorgeous location to photograph their couple shots on the Manning’s Farm a few minutes down the road from Ross-on-wye Kingdom Hall!

These guys were amazing to photograph and up for adventurous shots … even if it meant carrying Mikie through soggy fields like some period drama gent … bravo indeed Jordan!

Jordan & Mikie, you are so sweet and smitten together!  It was a delight to photograph you both and I wish you every happiness.  Thank you for being a wonderful Bride & Groom!

Georgina & Stephen

On 7th November, I photographed the wedding of Georgina Hirst and Stephen Vaughan up at the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy!  However I started the day just outside Welshpool at Georgina’s family home – although I arrived in a bit of a state with branches stuck under my car … sheepdog paw prints down my window … and probably a few pheasant feathers, having nearly run over a few dozen – literally!

Anyhoo,  the ladies were underway in getting ready when I arrived, pretty calm and collected altogether!  I was in awe when I saw Georgina’s dress – it was just stunning and I’m glad to report that despite her concerns, she DID fit the dress down the aisle!

The heavens did open up when the ceremony concluded but I think we successfully dodged the showers for most of the photos.  Despite the soggy conditions, Stephen and Gina were absolute troopers – I really enjoyed shooting the couples photos and I think their can-do attitude shows … being perched over a very steep drop, balancing on a rickety boat and dancing on a slippery giant table to name just a few health and safety risks!

Having taken the wedding photos for Stephens sister a few years ago, it was lovely to see some familiar faces and how the family has grown! Everyone was on good form and just genuinely nice people.  It’s always great to see two families unite!

Congrats to you both – you are such a lovely couple!

So, without further ado, I give you Mr & Mrs Vaughan…
