What a wonderful wedding I got to shoot at Wilde Lodge again but this time for the lovely Nick & Nina!

I know I say in most blogs about how amazingly chilled my Bride was … but seriously … Nina was a dream! The poor little bridesmaid was more nervous as you will see!

I guess this is a genuine example of love though – when you are relaxed, contented and just can’t wait to get down that aisle and marry your man – What lush a couple!

So, highlights of this wedding for me:-

  • Doggos in Bows * heart breaks *
  • Confetti explosion – I laugh every time I look at them!
  • Ninas Girl Power!
  • THE cowboy boots
  • Nick’s speech – you’re better than James Bond for sure!
  • Host Jemma’s fabulous cooking
  • The genuine love felt for this amazing pair from the wedding party

The Saunders Family

I had the pleasure of shooting at Hicks Farm once again but with the wonderful Saunders and extended family!

The 5 original Saunders – who are now spread far and wide from each other -used to come to Hicks farm when they were younger.  So this visit filled with memories and meaning for them.  Despite the cold weather, they made the most of being in this beautiful area!

These guys were fantastic company and up for a lot of fun with their lovely kiddies and of course not forgetting little lickey Lady (the cutest dog in the world!).

Sam & Jamie

I had SUCH a lovely time shooting this wedding at the gorgeous Wilde Lodge.  It was a super chilled yet rather emotional occasion – just stuffed full of love.

On the 1st of June, Sam & Jamie, along with their children, performed a hand fasting ceremony to solidify their marriage. The hand-made cords included pendants of a Lily and a Robin to represent their children.

There were some lovely details throughout the day :-

  • Home made bunting,
  • Performances and readings were done by family and friends – a talented bunch indeed!
  • Croquet on the lawn,
  • The children picked flowers and decorated the cake at the end of the meal,
  • And I loved the local cat…

The venue of Wilde Lodge is regal, intimate and surrounded by beautiful nature – Jemma and her team provide a fantastic service too – the food looked epic!  I’m rather excited to shoot another wedding here at the end of the month 🙂
