Jess & Jarrod

I had the privilege of shooting the lovely Jess and Jarrod’s wedding on the 21st of September!

I was with them for a half day – so capturing the biggest and best bits!

It was a delight to nip into the Wyre Forest for the couple shots.  It was such a beautiful sunny day so the light was streaming through the trees – idyllic!

I know Jess a little, and from what I discerned, she is a sweet, mild, demure young lady! But y’know, it’s lovely to get to spend time with the Bride and Groom on their wedding day – you always get to have a greater insight into their characters.  With Jess, their is more courage and inner strength than you can shake a stick at –  I felt bizarrely proud!  And Jarrod is just such a genuinely kind and lovely guy!

I wish you both all the happiness in your marriage … and all the adventures Australia can throw at you!

(They’ve moved to Oz if this last sentence confuses you!)

Denise & Peter

It was an absolute privilege to spend a few hours with Denise and Peter this week.  This lovely couple were getting married after 20 years of being together!

Very spur of the moment, they decided to get married at the Offas Dyke Center in Knighton all by themselves!  With some encouragement from family members however, they asked me to capture this special moment.

I took some photographs around the beautiful treehouse they were staying in beforehand at Squirrels Nest and my goodness, it was stunning!

This was the most low-key wedding I have shot, but in no way was it any less in love and meaning.  It was wonderful to see the strength of feeling and conviction between Denise and Peter after two decades together … and may it continue for many more!

Zoe & Dave

This was a stunner of a wedding that I got to shoot on the 6th of September.  Set in the hills of Brecon, Tall Johns House is a photographers dream! SO many beautiful backdrops to choose from.

Then there was the lush pair that is Zoe & Dave who were just fab to photograph. So funky. So cool. AND Dave hails from my home town of Glastonbury – WAHEY!

This wedding was a very relax affair and that’s just how it should be!  Getting to celebrate their nuptials with close friends and family in this gorgeous area was just perfect.  The fact that Zoe was nuts enough to want a ride in the wheelbarrow was just the icing on the cake for me. Amazing!

To the happy couple, I wish you and your little beauties all the best for the future.  Congratulations!
