Bec & Chris

It was such an honour to photograph the wedding of Bec & Chris. I have never met a groom so full of nervous joy he couldn’t stop giggling! It was just too darn cute!

This was located at the beautiful Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells. My first shoot here too! The original Victorian features were so lovely to photograph around.

As you may notice, our groom is a Truck man! And it wouldn’t have been right if we didn’t feature the other love of his life in the couple shots! So … as a man that enjoys a journey and always takes the long road, I wish you a very happy and long marriage. Chris, you’ve got an epic journey ahead of you with the beautiful Bec and those beautiful kids!

Alex & Oli

Here’s another beautiful wedding at Wilde Lodge in Powys. An intimate wedding party meant that the long barn was a perfect fit for Alex & Oli’s ceremony. Its rustic features and twinkly fairy lights make for a really beautiful scene.

The rest of Wilde Lodge grounds is extensive however. There are so many lovely places to photograph with the glorious welsh countryside as a backdrop. I will never tire of shooting here … and it’s a perfect space if you want to bring your rather large and gorgeous doggos (who may or may not steal the show)!

Alex & Oli had food from CSons who are incredible local caterers. Prepare to salivate when you come across the food shots … I only just managed to contain myself on the day!

All in all this was a super chill, merry occasion with close friends and family. A wonderful way to celebrate your special day. I wish every happiness to Mr & Mrs Pinfield!

Danni & Gareth

On the 11th of June, I had the pleasure of photographing Danni & Gareth’s wedding day. I met this lovely couple last year when shooting her maid of honour’s wedding. So it was great seeing some familiar faces!

This was a truly special day for the family. Not only have Danni & Gareth waited so long to tie the knot but Gareth even built their own venue … although it will be hosting a woolier kind of guest at some point. He also made a giant swing, picnic benches and even a fire pit – what a legend!

There were so many lovely elements to this day but I have to say I loved the live bands! They had live performances at the church ceremony and in the evening … and I would highly recommend The Spitfires if you like a bit of retro rock & roll.

So may I give a massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Hughes and thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day!
