Sophie & Alex

Well this was a delightful day at Tall John’s House! I have been here numerous times now and NEVER have I been into the secret room behind the bookcase! What an epic venue!

Showers were threatening our forcast for the day but they never came!  We managed to have the ceremony outside in the beautiful grounds surrounded by the bluebells. This ceremony had such heart – readings, poems and even a stunning acapella sung by the brother of the Bride. I got to see my first Scottish Quaich, where a cup is sipped from by Bride and Groom signifying love, dedication and the unifying of two families!

These guys were such a fun bunch to photograph. Look out for the groomsmen photo – I came over from the bridesmaid shot and they were all ready in position!! Encapsulating some cool album cover photo I mistakingly thought they were impersonating some 16th century Sea Captains. Similar vibe I guess.

With some incredible feasting, live band and a Ceilidh, cocktails and fire pits, this wedding was an absolute corker! And by the sounds of it, the new Mr & Mrs McDermott are carrying on that tend into the honeymoon!

Many happy returns to you Sophie & Alex!

Tom & Lily

I am delighted to have photographed the wedding of this lovely pair! I have work with Tom – an epic videographer – on a few occasions. So it was a privilege to be photographing his very own nuptials!

Honestly, Tom & Lily are one of the cutest, most adorable couples I’ve ever seen! There was so much playful energy, laughter and complete comfort around each other. Serious couple goals here!

Their wedding day was just full of joy. You could see the love radiate from their family and friends. There was a great buzz  … and I’m sure that wasn’t because they had provided the LARGEST supply of sweet treats I’ve ever seen …and a bottomless iced coffee station!

To Tom & Lily, I am so pleased you found each other. You are perfect for each other! I’m sure you’re going to have a life full of love and adventure! Thank you for having me as your photographer! X

Becca & Kurgan

On the 16th of December, Rebecca got to marry her childhood sweetheart Kurgan! Eloping to the wilds of Wales, they married in a treehouse at Squirrels Nest. A beautifully intimate ceremony where they could focus just on each other.

This lovely pair admit to being shy and uncomfortable in front of the camera but I think they did a wonderful job! I suppose being in such wonderful surroundings and instructed to cwtch up to the love of your life isn’t so tough in the end!

Becca & Kurgan, I wish you every happiness as Mr & Mrs with many more cwtches to come!
